Editorial standards

Our guides are written to help readers understand the same time and schedule questions addressed by our calculators. Articles should add context, examples, comparisons or troubleshooting—not simply repeat the calculator page in different words.

Scope

We avoid giving personalized legal, payroll, tax or financial advice. When a topic could be confused with an employment rule, we describe the mathematical assumption and encourage readers to follow the actual policies and records that apply to their workplace.

Originality and review

Calculator explanations and guides are prepared specifically for Worktimeatlas. We review pages for duplicated sections, unclear assumptions, broken calculations and misleading wording. We do not intentionally publish pages whose only difference is a changed number or keyword.

Updates and corrections

We may update pages when a calculator interface changes, when an explanation can be clearer, or when a user reports a reproducible error. Contact US with correction requests.
